The Engle's Lake Tahoe Vacation Condominium Picture of Front of Unit

The Summer Vacation Condominium is located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore
It is in the Lake Forest area which is approximately 1.7 miles east of Tahoe City

Three bedroom, one and one-half bath unit
Master bedroom has a queen bed and the other two bedrooms have double beds
TV and VCR in the living room and the Master Bedroom has a TV
Kitchen is fully equipped with: dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc.
Washer and dryer in the laundry room

Blankets and pillows (for six) are provided
(sheets, towels, spa towels, pillow cases, kitchen towels, etc.)

Dining Area
This is the dining area looking out to the back deck. Access to the deck is through the sliding patio door. For summer there is a BBQ, chairs and two tables with umbrellas. In the snow season (October to April) the umbrella and table are stored. Deck Chairs (Summer Use) are located under the stairwell.

The dining table sits six people.

There is a stereo with AM/FM, Cassette, and CD player.

The credenza (under stereo) is storage for games and puzzles.

Kitchen Area
View of Kitchen area from the Dining Room. Pass through area allows for the counter top to be used for light, snack, or stools (four swivel stools) to visit with cook.

Kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, place settings, glasses, coffee mugs, flatware, that you would need to fix and serve a Thanksgiving dinner.

Full sized refrigerator, microwave, gas oven and range, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, electric fry pan, blender, crock pot.

In the wash area (to the left) are a washer, dryer, wood drying rack (for those wet snow/water clothes), and half-bath.

Living Room

View One is looking out to the front of unit.

Parking, for two vehicles, is directly in front of unit. Overflow parking for extra vehicles and boat/boat trailer storage.

There is a six foot couch (great for afternoon naps), loveseat and a rocker-recliner.

Behind the rocker-recliner is a bookcase that is full of local and general interest reading. Please make sure you replace the books when you leave.

Living Room, View 2
View Two is looking towards the TV and Fireplace.

The TV is a 25" and there is a DVD and VHS/VCR directly underneath the TV. At the Safeway center there is a video rental store.

There is a safety concern with the fireplace insert. The fireplace is for ambience only and is very ineffective for heating. If you want a fire for the atmosphere you must use prepressed wood logs only, and do not use more than two logs at a time. The heat from using more than two logs could cause damage to the firebox. The fireplace insert is not designed for the heat load of standard fireplace wood. You can purchase logs at the local food markets (Safeway and Albertsons). There is a fire retardant rug in front of the fireplace in case a log rolls out.
